Sherman Library & Gardens Nights of 1000 Lights

Sherman Library & Gardens Nights of 1000 Lights is a festive holiday experience featuring a dazzling display of lights and holiday entertainment. The event runs for 12 nights during the month of December. For 2024, there are special members only night on December 5, 12, 19. Dates for the general public are December 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22.

Nights of 1000 Lights is a themed holiday event. For 2023, the theme is CELEBRATE 10 Years of Nights of 1000 Lights!

Guests will take a walk along the Rainbow Trail, past the Lollypop Woods and the Gumdrop Mountains, through the Peppermint Stick Forest, and the shimmering light tunnel. Make your way to the Candy Heart Carnival with plenty of fun carnival games for everyone to play.

Stop by the Molasses Swamp and the Old Peanut Brittle House, then take the Candy Land Express Train to visit Santa in his workshop. Afterwards, you can make your own batch of s’mores while relaxing around the fire pits. The Garden Shop will be open to shop for unique holiday gifts. Don’t forget to make a wish at “The Wishing Tree”.

Sherman Library & Gardens Nights Of 1000 Lights

Nights Of 1000 Lights is an indoor/outdoor event. Dress warmly for cool evening temperatures.

The Sherman gardens are just over 2 acres and holiday light displays are set up in different areas of the venue. Visitors generally spend approximately1 – 1 ½ hours enjoying the event. The Gardens will remain open until all ticketholders have had a chance to enjoy the experience. The event is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility assistance devices.

Parking: Parking is Free. Two lots are designated for Sherman Library & Gardens, both located off Dahlia Avenue.

On public admission nights, there will be a taco cart vendor. Purchases will be cash only. A no-host beer and wine bar will be available.

Pets are not allowed with the exception of ADA designated service animals.

Nights Of 1000 Lights Tickets

Nights of 1000 Lights is a ticketed event. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Admission is $30 for members and $50 for non-members. Children 3 and under are free. Tickets are not refundable.

Admission to Member Night is $85 ($95 for member guests) and includes:

  • First look at holiday light displays
