Sherman Library & Gardens Nights of 1000 Lights is a festive holiday experience featuring a dazzling display of lights and holiday entertainment. The event runs for 12 nights during the month of December. For 2022, there is a special members only night on December 8. Dates for the general public are December 9-11 and December 15-22. The Nights of 1000 Lights is a popular holiday event and often sells out. Purchase tickets early to guarantee your spot.
Nights of 1000 Lights is a themed holiday event. For 2022, the theme is Hooray For Hollywood! Guests will walk the red carpet through a glimmering tunnel of lights to Moulin Rouge, a Parisian Dance Hall in the Sherman’s Tea Garden, where you’ll see French cabaret singers and can can dancers. There will be a 1938 Packard 120 Convertible Sedan for photo ops. Then, visit a miniature railway at Sunset & Vine Station to take a trip through the Hollywood Hills with historic images of Tinseltown in its hey day.

Visit the Sherman Shop Of Horrors where you’ll find life-sized carnivorous plants, and encounter Trouble in Paradise in the Tropical Conservancy. Stop in to see Santa at the Miracle on PCH workshop, make a wish at The Wishing Tree, make s’mores at the fire pit, and check out the holiday gifs in The Garden Shop.
A special members only treat — savor a holiday cocktail at The Daisy Speakeasy!
Nights Of 1000 Lights is an indoor/outdoor event. Dress warmly for cool evening temperatures.
