Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade & Ring of Lights

Every year for 115 years, Newport Bay has hosted spectacular Christmas light displays on and off the water. Bayfront residents elaborately decorate their homes with holiday lights and décor to wow spectators who admire the dazzling Christmas displays. In addition to the decorated homes, there is a boat parade during the evenings of December 13-17, when hundreds of decorated boats cruise Newport Bay for all to see. The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is one of the largest of its kind. Boaters are entered into a competition to win awards and over 1.5 million people watch the parade every year. This year, the parade will also be streamed virtually.
