Costa Mesa Snoopy House
The Costa Mesa Snoopy House is scheduled to return to Costa Mesa City Hall from Friday, December 11, through Friday, December 18, 2026, according to the City of Costa Mesa's 2026 sponsorship brochure. For 2026, the City lists nightly visits from Santa, live performances, food trucks and snow sledding on the weekend.
Snoopy House has been a Costa Mesa holiday tradition since 1966, with holiday displays of "Peanuts" comic strip characters. It began as a display the Jordan family created at their Costa Mesa home and moved to City Hall in 2011. The display can be viewed from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM nightly.
We stop by the Snoopy House Display almost every year, just for fun, even though the kids are older now, but this is a great event for any age. The activities are designed for smaller children, but we enjoy getting into the spirit of the season, strolling around to see the lights, grabbing a hot chocolate, taking a picture by the Christmas Tree, and watching all the happy kids running around.
