With love, From scratch is a family-run small business that is unique because it does not have a traditional store front. It is a permitted Cottage Food Bakery in Anaheim, California. Their baking mantra is glorious. Each 9-inch pie is handmade using the freshest seasonal fruits from local farmers’ markets and family-owned produce stands.
Self-taught owner Kourtney insists this is her secret for a not too sweet and syrupy filling. She also mixes the all-butter crust dough in small batches using premium USDA Organic flours. Thanksgiving pie order pickups are generally scheduled for the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day. You can walk into this family fun restaurant for a large, portioned lunch and walk out with the best tasting banana crème pie in Placentia. They take Thanksgiving Pie orders and if you have any questions, just call and ask for Aristos. Aristos will patiently answer all your pie questions and give you his best recommendations. Now that’s customer service during the busiest time of the year!

Karen Uyeda is a master pie baker, making all her dough by hand and preparing the amazing shells and filling to bake your pie on the same day as pick up. Karen says she personally seeks out the best tasting seasonal fruit and organic flours. Sweetcie Pies are intentionally made with less sugar to let the natural fruit be the star. Pop Pie Co. In Costa Mesa offers meaty and hot pies along with sweet pies. This cool pie shop made our top list for holiday pies because of their awesome Honey Bourbon Pecan Pie. There is no other pie quite like this in Orange County. You can’t miss this incredible tasting pie for your holiday feast. The Chef owner’s signature pie is made with a toasted pecan filling, clover honey, premium brown sugar, orange zest and bourbon.
A close second is Pop Pie Co ‘s Apple Cranberry with Ginger Crumble. It’s baked with fresh apples, tangy cranberries and an old-fashioned oat crumble. We just can’t make up our mind, so maybe we will just order the Salted Caramel Apple Crumble Pie with a perfect blend of three different apples and a hint of orange zest mixed with international spices. Marie will never let you down when it comes to great pies at a great price. The first Marie’s Pie and Coffee shop was opened in the City of Orange, in 1964 by Marie’s son. We can’t deny that Marie Callender’s has earned it’s standing as the queen of pies.
Holiday pre-order sales have begun, and the selection continues to grow every year with something for everyone.
