Parasol Park – Great Park Neighborhoods

The Parasol Park community located in the Great Park Neighborhoods is a close knit, friendly community with a variety of amenities and community spaces for residents. The Parasol Park area is located between Great Park Boulevard, Bosque Street, Cadence, and Ridge Valley.

In addition to the great community spaces, Parasol Park is located a short walk or bike ride away from the Orange County Great Park.

Community Spaces

Parasol Park

Parasol Park offers families many opportunities to get outside and play. The lawns are neatly groomed with plenty of open space to play catch or tag or the lawn game of your choice. The playground is constructed primarily of wood with log cabin fort-style structures for climbing, looking out over the playground, and bridges to traverse. The perfect place to pretend you’re an explorer. Rocking chickens and log sheep offer unique climbing and riding opportunities, and the zip line is a popular addition for kids of all ages. The large trees offer plenty of shade on warm days and chairs and benches for resting and lounging are plentiful. The multipurpose court at Parasol Park features a blue floor area with boundary lines for a variety of court games and is equipped with nets and baskets. Whether you’re there to enjoy a game of basketball, volleyball, or foursquare, this is a whimsical area with many fun features.

Green House and Garden

Located in Parasol Park just beyond the multipurpose court is the Green House and Garden. This community space offers gardens for residents to grow and learn with monthly garden workshops, and planting and harvesting activities. There is plenty of space here with shaded tables for working, and seating areas to enjoy a day at the garden in Parasol Park.

The Living Room Neighborhood Information Center

Located on  hill beneath the Parasol Pine, the Living Room is a community gathering space with plenty of seating, an indoor community area, and a deck overlooking the neighborhood that is an ideal spot for stargazing on warm summer nights.

Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen at Parasol Park gives residents a great outdoor space for barbecuing and enjoying the outdoors with friends an family. The area is covered with a shade and provides plenty of seating to enjoy a family style meal.

The Pools 

Parasol Park is just steps away from The Pools, the newest waterpark in the Great Park Neighborhoods. The 8-acre park features a junior Olympic pool, a family pool, a children’s pool, and three spas. The Pools also features an outdoor fitness area, a sand volleyball court, children’s play area, a great lawn, and a clubhouse with an outdoor kitchen. In addition to The Pools, there are three other community pool areas within the Great Park Neighborhoods.

The Schools 

The Great Park Neighborhoods are part of the Irvine Unified School District. Currently open within the community  there is Beacon Park School, a K-8, and Portola High School. Cadence Park K-8 is set to open in August 2018.


Homes

Carlisle at Parasol Park by Tri Pointe Homes offers chic 2- and 3-story single-family detached homes with 2 to 4 bedrooms. The Carlisle Collection features classic modern and Art Deco design. The homes begin in the $800,000s and offer optional third floors to add an expansive rooftop deck or an outdoor kitchen.

Jade at Parasol Park by Pulte Homes offers four floor plans in their single family two-story detached home collection. Prices begin at $1.1 million with 2 to 4 bedrooms and the collection offers features like an additional third floor, optional balconies, covered outdoor space, an outdoor kitchen, and a loft.

Obsidian at Parasol Park by Lennar offers three story homes with three different floor plans with up to four bedrooms. The high-end detached condominiums have rear-facing garages, elevators for ease of access, bonus rooms, and outdoor living space on each level. One floor plan even offers a game room and lounge. Prices begin in the low $1 millions.

Sterling at Parasol Park by Tri Pointe Homes offers two- and three-story townhomes beginning in the high $600,000s. The Art Deco designed homes feature plenty of glass for natural lighting and have 2 to 4 bedrooms depending on the floor plan. The collection offers options like alternate floor plans, outdoor kitchens, front courtyards, a covered deck, and a bonus room.

Windchime at Parasol Park by Lennar offers homes from the mid $700,000s with 2 to 4 bedrooms. Every home in the collection is equipped with the Everything’s Included ® package, which features smart technology, gourmet kitchens, spacious living areas, and home automation. The Windchime collection features five different floorplans, with two- and three-story options.
