Korean Arirang Festival (아리랑 축제)

The annual Korean-American Arirang festival (아리랑 축제) will be celebrated on Thursday, October 12 through Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Garden Grove Park. The festival features cultural experience packed with entertainment, carnival rides, K-Pop, over 70 specialty booths, a beer garden, and a food court area with 40 to 50 international food booths. Attendees can enjoy the festivities without worrying about parking fees or admission charges, as both are completely free.

Korean Arirang Festival

Building upon the success of last year’s 38th Arirang Festival, this year’s event will carry a similar theme. However, with a more spacious event venue there will be exciting additions that spotlight K-POP contests, multicultural traditions, and the inclusion of thrilling carnival rides. Event organizers are also coordinating with the local Vietnamese community to make the festival as wonderful as possible for everyone involved.

For over 30 years, the Korean Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, the non-profit Korean Festival Foundation of Orange County, and more recently the KFCOC, have hosted the Annual Arirang Festival, formerly known as the Korean Festival in Garden Grove. The festivals were previously held at the Brookhurst Triangle, and in most recent years in Buena Park and at the Garden Square parking lot on Garden Grove Boulevard. This year’s event at Garden Grove Park is about two miles away from the OC Korean Community Center with Little Saigon also nearby.
