Wherever Greeks live, work and worship you’re bound to find a Greek Festival organized by a local Greek Orthodox church. These festive events invite the community out to celebrate Greek food and culture, and often feature music and activities for everyone to enjoy, plus find unique merchandise to shop. Here are all the Greek festivals in Orange County and beyond.

Orange Count Greek Fests

OC Greek Fest

Where: St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church
Address: 405 N. Dale St., Anaheim, CA 92801
Dates: Friday, May 16 – Sunday, May 18, 2025

The OC Greek Food & Wine Festival celebrates the best of Greek food, music, dancing and culture. Experience authentic Greek foods such as gyros, souvlaki, moussaka, tiropita, and spanakopita and sweet Grecian desserts – Baklava, Galactobouriko, and Karidopita. Enjoy traditional Greek music and dancing and stroll through the plaka (outdoor marketplace). The little ones can have fun too at the “Kidz Zone” with inflatable slides and bouncers, games, and other children’s activities. There are also tours of St. John The Baptist lined up during the Greek festival so that visitors can learn more about the oldest Byzantine Church in Orange County.

Irvine Greek Fest

Where: St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church

Dates: Friday, June 20 – Sunday, June 22, 2025

The Irvine Greek Fest is an annual cultural celebration of Greek heritage, food, music, and traditions. Things to see and do at the Irvine Greek Fest include:

  • Skilled performers will demonstrate traditional dances while wearing elaborate Greek costumes
  • Hear authentic Greek musicians play music on traditional and exotic instruments like the bouzouki
  • Fill up on traditional Greek foods including full plates, appetizers/meze, finger foods, and fresh homemade pastries
  • Visit the Kids Fun Zone for inflatables, obstacle courses, carnival games, 9-hole miniature golf, and more fun activities
  • Learn about the Greek Orthodox history and theology, tour the church, view the beautiful mosaics, and hear Byzantine music and hymns
  • Shop from a selection of local vendors and visit community booths

Parking is available on site at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, or at Lakeview Senior Center (20 Lake Road, Irvine). A shuttle bus will be running to take visitors to the festival from the senior center.

San Juan Capistrano Greek Festival

Come find your “kefi”! The San Juan Capistrano’s Annual Greek Festival is an exciting event sharing Greek culture and traditions with the community. Hosted by Saint Basil Greek Orthodox Church, guests will get a taste of Greece right here in Orange County with the hospitality (philoxenia) of San Juan Capistrano’s Greek community. Things to do and see at the Festival include:

  • Traditional Greek food like lamb, souvlakia, gyros, village salads, pastichio, spanakopita, loukoumades, and baklava
  • Visit the sports bar taverna to enjoy Greek wine tasting and beer and listen to live Greek music
  • See Greek folk dancing, costumed performers, and learn to dance like Zorba with dance lessons
  • Shop from a variety of vendors at the Greek Bazaar
  • Participate in fun kids activities
  • Tour Saint Basil Church and learn about the Greek Orthodox Faith
  • Enter the raffle to win a prize
