Choc Walk: Adventure in the Park

The annual CHOC Walk takes place on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Disneyland Resort and this year the event is back to walking for kids.

All fundraisers who reach the $125 minimum and above will receive (1) free admission to the CHOC Walk In The Park.

As a non-profit hospital, proceeds from the CHOC Walk support the full range of CHOC’s services, from dedicated physicians representing dozens of specialties, to long-term inpatient or short-term outpatient care, to leading-edge research that translates into new treatments and cures. Over the last 31 years, CHOC Walk events have raised over $40 million for Orange County’s only pediatric healthcare system. The CHOC foundation’s goal is to meet $2,500,000 this year.

CHOC Walk Event Details

• Event start time: 6:00 am
• There is designated free parking at the Disneyland Resort for all CHOC Walk participants the day of the event.
• Park admission to the Disneyland Resort after the CHOC Walk is not included.
  • To remain in the Disneyland Resort theme parks after the event ends, a separate park admission ticket and corresponding theme park reservation made in advance will be required. If you plan on extending your stay after the even, please make reservations and purchase admission before you arrive.
  • There will be no discounts on theme park admission the day of the event.
• Downtown Disney District will have discounts and specials for CHOC Walk participants on the day of the event.
• Event changes, cancellations, and restrictions may occur without notice.

CHOC Walk Fundraising

Participants may choose to purchase or fundraise toward the below incentive packages. This total may be reached through personal payments, donations from others or a combination of both.

Fundraising Levels/Incentive Packages

• $125 – CHOC Walker (Wristband, admission, & commemorative t-shirt)
• $200 – CHOC Walk Pin + CHOC Walk items
• $350 – CHOC Walk Day: Commemorative medallion & lanyard, 1 park hopper ticket valid for the day of the CHOC Walk to remain in the park + all CHOC Walk Pin items
• $650 – Disneyland Resort Fun: Park Hopper ticket (for a later date, not on day o CHOC walk) + all CHOC Walk Day items
• $1,000 – Double the Park Hopper Fun: 2 Park Hopper tickets for a later date plus all previous items
• $1,500 – Triple the Park Hopper Fun: 3 Park Hopper tickets for use on a later date plus all previous items
• $2,500 – CHOC Walk Hero: 4 Park Hopper tickets to be used at a later date + all previous items
• $8,000 – CHOC Walk Super Hero includes 4 Park Hopper tickets, 1 night at Disneyland Resort Hotel on July 20th, 2024, + all previous items

Ideas for CHOC Walk Fundraising

• Partner with a local restaurant to host a restaurant fundraiser.
• Ask your employer to donate. Many companies set aside funds and have policies in place for these requests.
• Setup a lemonade stand, bake sale, car wash or a block garage sale in your neighborhood.
• Ask friends and family to donate.
• Host a casino or trivia night with prizes for the big winners.
• Hold a 50/50 raffle.
