The Holdovers
Thursday, October 19 at 7:30PM at the New Port Theater

The Holdovers, which stars Paul Giamatti, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and newcomer Dominic Sessa. From acclaimed director Alexander Payne, The Holdovers follows a curmudgeonly instructor (Paul Giamatti) at a New England prep school who is forced to remain on campus during Christmas break to babysit the handful of students with nowhere to go. Eventually he forms an unlikely bond with one of them — a damaged, brainy troublemaker (newcomer Dominic Sessa) — and with the school’s head cook, who has just lost a son in Vietnam (Da’Vine Joy Randolph).”

Preceding the premiere screening, attendees will experience the Festival’s Closing Night Party at the picturesque Sherman Library & Gardens. Guests will enjoy top entertainment and signature tastings from some of the area’s top restaurants along with a hosted bar.  The Closing Night Party is part of the Festival’s Sunset Food & Wine Series.
