Fashion Island Events, Promotions & Holiday Festivities
Fashion Island has many events and promos throughout the year including in-store demos, sales, classes, workshops, fitness classes, seasonal and holiday events and much more.
Fashion Island Holiday Events
During the holiday season the ninety foot Fashion Island Christmas tree is brought out along with thousands of lights and ornaments. Santa Claus can also be found at his Fashion Island cottage ready to meet with young visitors to share their holiday wishes and take a photo with Santa at his custom-designed house on Atrium Lawn.
The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony is a two evening classic tree lighting tradition, along with a visit from Santa Claus, live musical entertainment, and a magical “snowfall.” Santa Claus leads the countdown to the lighting of the tree, which is followed by a “snowfall” that transforms the courtyard area into a winter wonderland.
Hanukkah is celebrated with Menorah lighting celebration. Past celebrations have included dreidles, holiday doughnuts, balloon animals, face painting, Hanukah entertainment, gifts, Hanukah crafts and treats for children. The menorah is located in the Atrium Garden Courtyard, near Dick’s Sporting Goods and Wahoo’s Fish Taco.
During the Easter season hop on over to the Atrium Lawn for photos with the Easter Bunny in his spring garden. The Lot also holds an annual Halloween Boo-Bash party with a DJ, dancing, cocktails, buffet and costume contest.
StyleWeekOC
Fashion Island also hosts an annual StyleWeekOC in the fall. See the fashion and beauty trends with live music, special promotions, and exclusive in-store festivities. Select from a curated collection of heritage & emerging brands, world-class designers, and stylish boutiques.
Car Showroom Experiences
Fashion Island is unique for having the only mall-based car showrooms in Orange County. Luxury automakers Tesla and Lincoln maintain a presence there. Tesla’s Experience space is an interactive showroom that makes a trip there almost as much an event as going to Disneyland, while the Lincoln Experience offers browsing patrons the chance to relax in their Connectivity lounge, enjoy a complimentary beverage, and scope out the technology that makes Lincoln such a reliable luxury car.

More Events & Happenings
Barnes & Noble regularly hosts author events, and every Saturday at 11:00AM hosts Storytime in their Children’s Department. Snacks and activities are included.
Stop by See’s Candy for a free See’s sample chocolate or Nespresso to get a taste of any coffee flavor you wish to try.
As a full service retail experience, Fashion Island also has a robust personal shopping service, with highly-trained personal shoppers ready to guide you through whatever buying experience you desire.
Red O occasionally lines up live DJs, tequila tastings, and bottomless brunch events.
The Orange County Race for the Cure is held annually at Fashion Island.
Fashion Island Entertainment
To begin the entertainment at Fashion Island is the shopping and dining at this high-energy social hub. It’s an experience in itself to window shop the high-end stores, people watch, dog watch, spot the celebrities or actually shop. Walking around to view the beautiful architecture, immaculate landscapes, the koi pond and the fountains is an experience that many people repeat without ever shopping. The weather is great year round and the coastal views are a sight to see.
Once you’re done (window) shopping you can sit and relax inside or outside at the many craft coffee and dessert shops. Many restaurants have cocktail bars where premium spirits and sophisticated wines are served and the people watching can continue.
THE LOT
When you’re done with people watching, window shopping, and enjoying the outdoor spaces of Fashion Island, head over to THE LOT for a movie experience every bit as high-end as the shopping. Not only is the restaurant top-flight, The LOT has an in-theater dining menu that lets you nosh on delicious fresh salads and sharable plates, as well as gourmet popcorn. Save room for your usual theater candy order, though, because that’s here, too.
THE LOT is also much more than a movie theatre. The upscale and energetic restaurant and bar offers elevated cuisine and many special events throughout the year. Sports viewing parties are held in the bar for all the big games. Live music events such as salsa and jazz nights regularly make the calendar.
Holiday dinners for Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, Valentine’s Day and other holidays are annual events. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day brunches are also annual events. Easter brunch might include a buffet with an egg hunt, golden eggs and a Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar.
