Pacific Symphony’s SummerFest is a series of five shows held annually at Great Park Live in Irvine. The shows are held from July to September include a July 4 Spectacular, a live-to-film event and classical favorites.
This year’s July 4 Spectacular is set to the music of Buffett, Beach Boys and more and followed by a dazzling fireworks show. The live-to-film event features the classic movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens Additional shows include Beethoven, Disco Fever and Tchaikovsky’s Spectacular featuring classical favorites from Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and of course, Tchaikovsky.

How to Get Summerfest Tickets
SummerFest is a series of three performances and is typically only sold as a season ticket package at the outset. Around mid to late May the Pacific Symphony typically announces single tickets for sale to all three shows.

Celebrate America with the iconic hits of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Van Morrison and The Beach Boys —from “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” to “Brown-Eyed Girl” and many more— brought to life by celebrated vocalists and Pacific Symphony. Sing along, dance under the open sky, and cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks finale that will light up the summer sky.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens In Concert

Thirty years since the destruction of the second Death Star, the sinister First Order, commanded by the mysterious Snoke and apprentice Kylo Ren, rise from the ashes of the Empire. The Resistance, led by General Leia Organa, attempts to thwart the First Order’s threat, but they’re desperate for help. Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper, find themselves joining forces with Han Solo and Chewbacca in a desperate mission to return a BB-unit droid with a map to Luke Skywalker back to the Resistance.
Beethoven’s Emperor & Pictures at an Exhibition

Enjoy Oscar Navarro’s vibrant A Downey Overture, Beethoven’s majestic Piano Concerto No. 5 with pianist Michelle Cann, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in Ravel’s stunning orchestration. Under the direction of Carl St.Clair, this concert promises to be a truly unforgettable celebration of great music.
Disco Fever – Let’s Dance!

Pacific Symphony presents Disco Fever, a high-energy concert conducted by Principal Pops Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez.
This exciting performance features the incredible vocal talents of Maiya Sykes and Ty Taylor performing iconic disco anthems like “We Are Family,” “Stayin’ Alive,” “I Will Survive,” and “The Hustle.” The fun continues with an on-stage dance-off, where audience members can show off their best disco moves. Inspired by Enrico’s father’s love for the genre, this concert will take you on an unforgettable ride back to the groovy ‘70s.
Tchaikovsky Spectacular: Concert of Hope

Experience the grandeur of Tchaikovsky’s most iconic works in this exhilarating concert, where passion and power meet.
The evening opens with the soaring beauty of Piano Concerto No. 1, featuring a stunning performance that will captivate and thrill. After intermission, immerse yourself in the dramatic intensity of Francesca da Rimini, a symphonic poem filled with vivid storytelling. The evening culminates with the explosive 1812 Overture, a thrilling celebration of Tchaikovsky’s bold compositional mastery, complete with fireworks for an unforgettable finale.
Know Before You Go
- There is a clear bag policy: Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags. Maximum size: 12″ x 6″ x 12″ AND/OR small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand. Doesn’t need to be clear. Maximum Size: 4.5″ x 6.5.” No other bags will be allowed.
- Cashless Payment: All points of sale will only accept credit, debit or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). In the event you are not carrying credit or debit cards, staff will be available on site at the Guest Services Booth to exchange cash for card, dollar for dollar, without any service fees.
- Outside Food & Beverages: Not allowed except for one (1) sealed water bottle and one (1) clear gallon sized bag for snacks. There will be a wide variety of dinner and beverage options available for purchase on-site.
- Mobile Ticketing: These are mobile entry events, which means your phone is your ticket. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print (for previously scheduled shows where you selected print at home or mail, your tickets will be honored accordingly). Screen grabs will NOT be accepted.
- Cosplay is allowed: Live Nation reserves the right to review costumes for any potentially hazardous items and restrict entry of items.
