Welcome to the Enjoy OC Guide to Great Park Live! The Orange County Live Music and Events Venue is set in the North Lawn of Irvine’s Great Park and is the hub for concerts, festivals, and community events through the end of summer 2026.
As the temporary entertainment destination paving the way for the permanent venue set to open in 2027, Great Park Live keeps music on the map for Orange County, continuing the long-standing tradition of the iconic Irvine Meadows that originally opened in 1980. The park’s first temporary venue, Five Point Amphitheater, closed in 2023.

Parking & Directions
General Seating
Great Park Live is an Outdoor Amphitheater that can accommodate up to 7,500 attendees. There is no permanent seating at Great Park Live, and many events are considered “standing room only” or “lawn seating”. For these events, you may bring your own blankets or lawn chairs. Some events may have chairs and/or tables in place for temporary seating.

Premium Seating
Get the best seat in the house to all your favorite shows. Premium seating is available to purchase, as well as premium VIP cabanas.
VIP Reserved seating includes:
- Reserved seating in a prime viewing location
- Access to a private VIP entrance
- Separate VIP bar
- Shaded lounge
- Private VIP restrooms
Premium VIP Cabanas include:
- 15 VIP Admission Tickets
- Private Hangar with a dedicated server
- Hangar seating with premium furniture to seat 15 guests
- Option to pre-order refreshments and catering
- Access to VIP bar and restrooms
Parking Information
- VIP Parking: Located in lot P1, a VIP parking spot allows for a quick in and out to any event.
- Preferred and GA Parking: Located in Lot P2, a parking spot here is only a short walk to the venue
- Limo/RV Parking: There is a limited number of spaces. No overnight parking.
- Additional Parking: There are currently 9 parking lots at the Great Park. While some may require more walking than others, they are all reasonably close to the venue and are often free.
- Rideshare Pickup & Dropoff: Please use lot P1 for pickups and drop-offs or follow the signs for the designated location during your event.
- Charging Stations: There are several EV chargers located throughout the Orange County Great Park, currently in lots 4, 5, and 6.

Cash-Free Venue
Great Park Live requires cashless payments. All points of sale will only accept credit, debit, or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay).
Concessions/Alcohol
A variety of concessions are available for purchase at Great Park Live, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the venue.
Depending on the event, there may be food trucks and other vendors to purchase food and drinks from.
The Layover
The venue’s primary location for food and beverages is The Layover which is located inside Great Park Live. Options here include entrees, snacks, beer, wine, and cocktails, select craft beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and water.
For some events, this is also the location to purchase wristbands for the Kids Zone, which includes activities like games, inflatables, and other family-friendly activities.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed at Great Park Live and there are currently no refillable water bottle stations.
Great Park Live Ticket Information
Tickets to events at Great Park Live can be purchased online. Visit the Upcoming Events page, select the event you would like to attend, and complete your purchase through the payment portal. All ticket sales are final.
Some events may have a select number of tickets available for purchase at the door. Check specific event information for details and availability.
Some events may have discounts available. Check the Great Park Live website and the specific event website for availability.
Age Restrictions: Community events, food festivals, cultural performances, and family entertainment events are generally all ages. Some special events and concerts may have age restrictions. Check with your chosen event for details.
Re-entry: For ticketed events at Great Park Live, re-entry is not permitted.
Weather: All shows at Great Park Live are rain or shine unless otherwise noted.
Accessibility Information
Seating for Accessibility: Great Park Live is floor seating only. Some events may have ADA raised platforms for guests who need accommodations. Guests who need accessible seating can purchase up to two additional tickets to be seated with their companions.
Great Park Live is fully accessible with designated parking, seating, and restrooms to accommodate guests of all abilities.
Service animals are allowed at Great Park Live and must be on-leash and under control at all times. No other animals or pets are allowed at Great Park Live.
First aid is available at Great Park Live with a designated first responder personnel team located near the main entrance.
Great Park Live Policies
- No tailgating
- No open containers
- No outside food and beverages
- Camelbacks and similar waterpacks are not allowed
- There is no free WiFi.
- Expect to take some time to get in and out of the parking lots.
- Tailgating is not allowed but people appear to still tailgate.
- No camping or overnight RV parking is allowed
- Re-Entry is not permitted for ticketed events
- Smoking/Vaping is not allowed in the venue except for in designated areas
- The box office that only accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. No cash or checks will be accepted.
- All guests are subject to metal detectors and/or a physical pat down for our search procedures. All bags are subject to inspection.
- Zero tolerance for violence, or threats of violence, or other behavior that may be detrimental to the experience of other guests.
What’s Allowed at Great Park Live
- Clutch Bags up to 4.5” x 6.5” (these do not need to be clear)
- Bags larger than clutch size indicated above must be clear (no larger than 12” x12”x6”)
- Larger bags for medical or baby supplies may be accommodated. Guests may bring one (1) bag no larger than 12”Hx12”Wx16”D, but it will be subject to additional mandatory security screening.
- Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
- Water – up to 16 ounces in a factory sealed plastic bottle. Must not be frozen.
- Some food items may be allowed in a clear, 1-gallon zip lock bag for guests with dietary restrictions and for baby food with prior approval from venue staff. Please email info@greatparklive.com for more information.
- Personal size battery powered fans (NO Mist!)
- Hats
- Lap blankets no larger than 45”x55”
- Small, non-metal seat cushions

- Sports equipment including Beach balls, balloons, frisbees and related items.
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses or external zoom lenses
- Large metal key chains
- Wallets with chains or chain accessories, studded bracelets, spikes, etc.
- Fireworks
- Coolers/Ice chests (Hard or Soft Sided)
- Laser pointers
- Noisemaking Devices (whistles, airhorns, cowbells, etc.)
- Remote controlled flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, drones)
- Skateboards, Rollerblades, Bikes, Scooters, etc.

- Umbrellas
- Misting fans
- Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, promotions, sampling, giveaways & etc.
- Weapons of any kind (including pepper spray)
- Strollers or Wagons (Strollers and wagons are prohibited at all commercial events at Great Park Live to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. However, strollers are welcome at community and family-friendly events, like Irvine Nights. Please plan accordingly based on the event you are attending.
