
With summer comes exciting outdoor events in warm and sunny Orange County. There are a variety of summer concert series’ at parks and other venues around the county so that family and friends can gather, enjoy a picnic, and dance away the evening. Here are some Orange County Summer Concerts you won’t want to miss.

Buena Park Summer Concerts
Buena Park Summer Concerts take place on Wednesday Nights at Boisseranc Park located at 7520 Dale Street. All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Boisseranc Park celebrations will include a drum circle from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. for children and adults to bring their own instruments and take part in a large circle, making music, dancing, and enjoying the outdoors.
Due to social distancing guidelines, seating is limited and reservations are required. Call 714-562-3860 to reserve your spot beginning July 13. Concerts begin July 29, 2020.

Costa Mesa Summer Concerts In The Park
Costa Mesa Summer Concerts In The Park are every Tuesday in July at Fairview Park, located at 2525 Placentia Avenue. The live music begins at 6:00 p.m. but come early as there are other activities that begin at 5:00 p.m. Get dinner from the food trucks, enjoy activities for children, browse the booths from community organizations, and relax in the beer and wine garden. Cypress Summer Concerts On The Green

The Cypress Summer concert series is at Cypress Civic Center Green located at 5275 Orange Avenue. Concerts begin every Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. from June – August. There will be arts and crafts available for kids beginning at 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available for purchase at the events, and no alcohol is allowed. 2020 Schedule TBA
Garden Grove Summer Concert Series

The Garden Grove Summer Concert Series will be held at Eastgate Park located at 12001 St. Mark Street. Concerts will take place on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. 2020 schedule TBA. Events include free kids activities and weekly giveaways. Food will be available to purchase from gourmet food trucks. Past musical guests at the Garden Grove Summer Concert Series include The Answer, Knyght Ryder, Trinity, SOTO, Flogging Seagulls, and DSB.
Huntington Beach Concert Band Summer Series
Concerts for 2020 have been cancelled
The Huntington Beach Concert Band Summer Series runs for eleven weeks on Sundays from June – September. Concerts begin at 5:00 p.m. and are held at the Thomas Ridley Central Park Concert Bandstand behind the Huntington Beach Central Library. The address for the bandstand is 18000 Goldenwest, but there is parking near the library which is located at 7111 Talbert Avenue. Enjoy the sounds of bands like Night Blooming Jazzmen, Ginger & The Hoosier Daddys, Kelly Rae Band, the Huntington Beach Concert Band, and more. Latin and swing dance lessons will be held from 4:15 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on select dates.
Laguna Beach Music In The Park
Laguna Beach Music In The Park will take place on Sunday evenings from During July and August. Live music will be played from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Bluebird Park located at 798 Bluebird Canyon Drive. Musical guests are announced in June. Sunset Serenades are on Fridays in May and September. 2020 information TBA.
Laguna Niguel Concerts In The Park
Laguna Niguel Summer Concert Series takes place on select Fridays beginning in June from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. There will be a special concert on July 4 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The concerts will be held at Crown Valley Park Amphitheater located at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway. A shuttle service is available from City Hall at 30111 Crown Valley Parkway. Dinner and dessert will be available for purchase from food trucks on location beginning at 6:30 p.m. 2020 program information TBA

La Palma Flashback Summer Concerts

The City of La Palma is partnering with the Community Activities and Beautification Committee to present the 2020 summer Concerts in the Park series. Flashback Summer is a series of six concerts featuring musical tribute bands that play all the best tunes from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. This year’s bands TBA. Bring your family and friends and a picnic to enjoy an evening of music in the park.
All La Palma Concerts will be held on Saturday evenings (6:30 – 8:00 p.m.) at the Central Park Amphitheater – 7821 Walker Street, CA, 90623
Los Alamitos Music & Movies Event Series

The Los Alamitos Music & Movies Event Series includes four dates at four different locations. Saturday, June 13, the concert will take place at Orville Lewis Park. Concert-goers will enjoy music by Southland Mega Groove, covering popular to from the 1960s to today. Music will last from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will be followed by the movie, Detective Pikachu. Saturday, June 27, the concert will be held at Sunburst Field at the Joint Forces Training Base. Music runs from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will be played by Hollywood Blonde, a top 40 cover band. The music will be immediately followed by the movie, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. Saturday, July 11, the concert event will take place at Little Cottonwood Park. Music will be provided by Sugarlips. Music will last from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and will be followed by the movie, Frozen 2. On July 25, the event takes place at the Los Alamitos School District Office Field. Guests will enjoy music from Reckless, a classic rock cover band, and will be followed by the movie The Lion King (live action). The Los Alamitos Concert events will include children’s activities, raffles, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Newport Beach Concerts On The Green
2020 events have been postponed until further notice.
The 2020 Newport Beach Summer Concerts On The Green is presented by the City Arts Commission. The Newport concerts are held once a month during the summer at the Newport Beach Civic Center located at 100 Civic Center Drive. Concerts begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Gourmet food trucks will be available to purchase food, or bring a picnic dinner. The concert series kicks off on Sunday, June 19 with DSB. The PettyBreakers perform on August 9. Yachty by Nature perform on August 23, and the series wraps up on September 13 with Rumors.
OC Parks Summer Concert Series

The OC Parks Summer Concert Series is a series of 10 concerts that take place at multiple locations throughout the summer. The free concerts take place on Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. from June – August. The parks that will offer the summer concerts are Craig Park, Mason Park, Irvine Park, Mile Square Park, and Salt Creek Beach. Musical guests include Hard Day’s Night, Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy, Room At The Top, The English Beat, The Fenians, The White Buffalo, Lit, and more.
Orange Concerts in the Park

The City of Orange will host concerts in the park from June – August. Summer concerts take place every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Concerts will be held at the Hart Park Bandshell located at 701 S. Glassell Street. Musical guests include Bumptown, Tears Of Joy, The Country Club band, Hard Day’s Night, and more. There will be no concert on the 3rd of July.
Orange County Great Park Summer Drive-In Series
Come to the Orange County Great Park in Irvine for Summer Drive-In concerts. Concerts begin at 4:30 p.m. The Great Park concerts are open to Irivne residents only due to limited space. Admission is free, but registration is required to receive an admission ticket. Currently scheduled concerts:

- Saturday, August 15, 2020 – Tijuana Dogs
- Saturday, August 29, 2020 – Yachty by Nature
Rancho Santa Margarita Summer Concerts

Every Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, July 12 – August 9, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita is hosting summer concerts at Central Park at 30842 La Miranda. Beer and wine can be purchased during the event at the Rotary del Sol Beer & Wine Garden. Attendees are invited to bring blankets, low back lawn chairs, and picnics to enjoy the show. The 2020 lineup TBA.
San Juan Summer Nights
No concerts currently scheduled for 2020
San Juan Capistrano summer concerts in the park are held at the Historic Town Center Park located at 31852 El Camino Real. The events include live music, dancing, local restaurants, business expo vendors, children’s activities, beer, and wine. Concerts are on the third Wednesday evening of the month from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. from June through September. Please leave your pets at home.
Seal Beach Summer Concert Series
No concerts currently scheduled for 2020
The Seal Beach summer concerts will take place on Wednesday evenings near the pier at Eisenhower Park. Concerts run June through August from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Musical guests for the Seal Beach concert series 2020 TBA. Come out and enjoy the sand, surf, and the sounds of summer.
Tustin Free Concerts In The Park
No events currently scheduled for 2020
The District at Tustin Legacy is featuring four free summer concerts in the AMC Courtyard with a beer and wine garden. Purchases at the beer and wine garden will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. Bring the family out to enjoy an evening of live music on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. No lawn chairs, coolers, or blankets at this concert. First come, first served seating is available.
The City of Tustin Parks & Recreation Department is also hosting free concerts in the park from June – July at Peppertree Park at 230 West First Street. Enjoy live music on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Live music will be played by a variety of musical groups including motown and R&B by Blue Breeze Band, country by Mark Easterday Band, 70s hits from K-Tel Allstars, 80s favorites by Like Totally Fer Sure, 70s and 80s rock by Electric Vinyl, top 40 hits by Grilled Cheese Soundwich, all things Journey by DSB, and sounds of the Eagles by Eagles Experience.
