Ready to have a happy Halloween? Here are a few of our favorites for this year, and some classics that work for everyone.
Check out all the options and find all the Best Places To Get Costumes
Plague Doctor
This one is fitting for the time. Plague doctor costumes are in demand right now and come in a variety of styles and in both kid and adult sizes. You can piece together your own Plague Doctor costume, or you can buy a complete set. Spirit, HalloweenCostumes.com, Amazon, and Party City all have great options to choose from. Here’s one of our favorite Plague Doctor masks that you can find on Amazon:
Black Widow
It was one of Marvel’s blockbuster movies, and who doesn’t want to be a bombshell superhuman from the Avengers? Channel your super hero with one of Natasha Romanoff’s suits and choose from her different styles including Endgame, Civil War, and the white Snow Suit.
Cruella De Vil
Another blockbuster movie, you can grab the coolest Cruella costumes for kids and adults from all the major costume shops. We love this classic Cruella look from HalloweenCostumes.com:
WandaVision
This Disney+ TV series took Marvel fans by storm. Whether you want to dress up as a stylish housewife, Scarlet Witch, or Vision, most major Halloween retailers carry a selection of Wanda Vision costumes. You can find these WandaVision costumes at Amazon:
Wonder Woman
Another super hero, but we can’t leave out this DC Comics Amazonian Warrior because, well, she’s awesome. Although Wonder Woman has been around for years, the latest generation of costumes are fun and modern. This is our favorite adult Wonder Woman costume:

Hamilton Characters
Hamilton fans and history buffs can choose their favorite: Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, George Washington, the Schuyler sisters – and there are versions for both kids and adults. Yes, even the kids have taken a liking to Hamilton. Amazon has a huge selection of Hamilton costumes for everyone, and we really like this kid’s version of Elizabeth Shuyler’s dress:
Historical Kids Costumes
Historical costumes can be so much fun, and you can often find something unique so your kids won’t be twinning with all the others at the Halloween party. HalloweenCostumes.com has a huge selection of historical kids costumes including Johnny Appleseed, Amelia Earhart, Ben Franklin, Florence Nightingale, Leonardo da Vinci, Harriet Tubman, and more. We’re really in love with this one:
Baby Yoda
Properly named The Child, this character from The Mandalorian is a crowd favorite. Most major Halloween costume retailers carry versions of The Child in all sizes, but we think this one from Party City is adorable:

Raya
Kids will be ready to take an epic quest when they’re dressed up like Raya. Most major retailers have some version of the Raya And The Last Dragon costume, but we think the one they have at the Disney shop is hands down the best:

Captain America
You can never go wrong with the patriotic super soldier Captain America. He is after all one of the iconic Marvel superheroes. You can find Captain America costumes for men, women, boys, and girls in a variety of styles. HalloweenCostumes.com, Amazon, Party City, and other costume retailers, but we like this Avengers: Endgame Captain America costume from Spirit the best for kids:
