Wavepools & Rivers

Castaway River

Attraction Type: Lazy River
Length: 1,700 feet
Height Requirement: Guests under 40” must wear a provided life jacket
Safety Requirements: Maximum pool depth 30” (77 cm)

Enjoy a relaxing, scenic ride on an innertube over the course of a 34,000 square foot, 1,700-foot-long closed-circuit winding river with multiple entrance and egress points. Guests can float on tubes and enjoy relaxing while moving with the current.

Shaka Bay

Attraction Type: Wavepool
Pool Size: 25,000 square feet
Height Requirement: Guests under 48” must wear a provided life jacket
Safety Requirements: Maximum pool depth 6-feet (1.83 m)

This 25,000-square-foot wavepool creates gentle waves two to five-feet high, providing guests with a spot for body surfing, inner tubing, swimming or just cooling off. The wave machine cycles throughout the day between periods of stillness and varying sizes of waves, depending on the time of day.

Young children can jump in the gentle waves that roll into the small beach, or from the large beach you can swim into the main surf zone to ride the waves while floating in a tube or attempt some bodysurfing.


Family Raft Rides

Aquaconda

Ride Type: Family Raft Ride
Number of Riders: 3 – 6 riders per raft

This ride is a family favorite, featuring loads of wall time, speeds of up to 20.5 mph, surprise drops, twisting turns, and the ability to create a shared experience with family and friends.

The descent begins in an open flume, but quickly changes after a quick turn as you enter a fully enclosed flume. As the raft picks up speed you’ll oscillate back and forth with each turn riding the walls. There is a sudden surprise drop into the splash down pool for the finale.

Bora Bora Boomerango

Ride Type: Family Raft Ride

Sure to have the longest wait times in the park, the Boomerango is a timeless guest favorite with a mix of sensations that will leave a huge impression on riders. The gravity-defying journey begins by boarding a six-person raft and entering the slide’s vibrant, striped open flume. The ride quickly builds speed as the raft makes a sharp right turn towards the open drop, building suspense. Here rafts make a heart-racing plunge that is quickly followed by an ascent up a nearly vertical wall, creating a feeling of weightlessness at the apex before rushing down and over one last “zero-gravity” hump before gliding into the pool exit.

Tortuga

Ride Type: AquaSphere, Constrictor & Enclosed Family Raft Ride Fusion

Safety Restrictions: Maximum combined weight 1,000 lbs per raft

Guests in six-person rafts take high speed twists and turns down an enclosed serpentine flume and are injected into large Aquaspheres with exciting oscillations around 90-degree corners. As guests shoot though the tight corners and high-banking turns of the Constrictor before concluding their ride by splashing into a pool.

Wild Rivers Tortuga

Typhoon

Ride Type: Family Raft Ride & Rattler Fusion
Number of Riders: 3 – 6 riders per raft
Height Requirement: Minimum Height 42” (107 cm)
Safety Restrictions: Maximum combined weight 1,000 lbs per raft

This six-person rafting experience offers a multitude of sensations with tighter turns, higher banks and steep drops into the 20-foot diameter MEGAtube™. Typhoon will be a guest favorite.


Tube Slides

Fiji Falls

Ride Type: Constrictor Tube Slide

Fiji Falls is a four-story body slide complex that includes an exciting variety of twists, turns, and drops that can be enjoyed by customers of all ages. The rattler produces exciting back and forth downstream velocity and includes the Master Blaster® uphill water coaster, which uses advanced water jets to power riders up slopes for a gravity-defying experience. The tower also features a superbowl, a constrictor, and for a more relaxed experience, two traditional serpentine innertube slides featuring translucent sections and enclosed AquaLucent sections that harness sunlight to create colorful patterns and dazzling lighting effects that shine through the slide.

Wild Rivers Fiji Falls

Pelican Plunge

Ride Type: Water Coaster & Rattler
Number of Riders: 1 or 2 riders on a double tube
Height: 41 feet
Length: 558 feet
Height Requirement: Minimum Height 48” (122 cm)
Safety Restrictions: Maximum weight of single rider 300 lbs or combined weight 400 lbs for double rider

Like a pelican swooping down on a fish, the ride starts with a steep dive into the water. At the bottom of the drop you’ll swoop up and ascend an uphill section of the flume propelled by a stream of water. You’ll then soar around an enclosed section before diving again and ascending a second hill. The first half of this experience is similar to that of a roller coaster.

The ride continues inside an enclosed flume that leads to the final element, the Rattler. Inside this giant tumbler you’ll rock back and forth as you float towards the splash down pool.

Pipeline

This 41 foot high open and enclosed slide includes a variety of twists, turns, and drops. Samoan Serpent

Tiki’s Revenge

1 to two riders can slide down this open slide on a raft.


Body Slides

Bombay Blasters

Ride Type: Enclosed Drop Body Slide
Number of Riders: Single rider

Riders must be strong swimmers and comfortable with swimming in deep water
Maximum pool depth 8-feet

One of two original iconic rides from the former Wild Rivers, Bombay Blasters guests will slide down dueling enclosed tubes that start high, fall steeply, and shoot each fast-moving rider into the air to drop four feet into a waiting receiving pool.

Tahitian Toucan

Ride Type: Open Flume Drop Body Slide

Riders must be strong swimmers and comfortable with swimming in deep water

The other of the two iconic former Wild Rivers rides, Tahitian Toucan is a remake of the very popular Sweitzer Falls ride. It is a tall, straight, open-topped slide that shoots guests out over and drops you feet down into an 8 foot deep splash pool. Younger guests might attempt Tahitian Toucan before graduating to the faster Bombay Blasters.

Tala and Mano

Ride Type: Enclosed & Open Body Slides
Number of Riders: Single rider
Height: 30 feet
Length: 249 feet (Tala); 237 feet (Mano)
Height Requirement: Minimum Height 40” (102 cm)
Safety Restrictions: Maximum weight of rider 300 lbs

Tala has both open and enclosed sections, while Mano is completely closed but Mano has multi-color aqaulucent rings as you begin your ride and translucent sections at the bottom so your friends can see you just before you finish your ride.

Tomcat Racers

Ride Type: Whizzard Mat Racer
Number of Riders: 6 – 1 per lane
Height: 50-feet
Length: 334 feet
Height Requirement: Minimum Height 42” (107 cm)
Safety Restrictions: Maximum weight of rider 300 lbs

Standing atop a 50 foot tower, racers lay face-first on their mat in one of six starting lanes. The experience starts as you slide face first into one of six fully-enclosed AquaTubes that begin a 360-degree downward spiral descent. In route the excitement builds with light shining in colorful patterns through the Aqualucent tubes. With your speed increasing as you descend, each of the tubes realign (bringing the riders side-by side) to begin the open air finale…a six-lane, side-by-side, steep plunge into the run out.

Children’s Pools & Activities

Cook’s Cove

Attraction Type: Family Activity Pool & Play Structure
Height Requirement: Minimum Height for slides 40” (102 cm)

Maximum Water Depth: 9″ (23cm)

The centerpiece of the kid’s play area and essential in any new waterpark, this will be one of the largest rain fortresses in the world. Cook’s Cove features 77 activities that are safe and fun for the kids, including an 800-gallon tipping water bucket and several slides that launch into a shallow zero entry pool. This will engage the younger kids for hours with tons of fun.

Kontiki Cove

Attraction Type: Children’s Activity Pool & Slides
Height Requirement: Children under 36” should be supervised by an adult

This children’s activity pool will have five slides for the little tikes to ride. Each one ending into a shallow pool for non-intimidating fund. These are small versions of some of the larger slides, including enclosed and open body slides, and a side-by-side racing body slide. Each slide ends in a shallow pool that’s perfect for toddlers and young children.


Wild Rivers Restaurant

Dippin’ Dots Kiosks

If it is Dippin’ Dots you crave there are two locations where you can indulge your sweet tooth. One on the island and one near the wavepool entrance. Come check out all the new flavors!

Island Sweets

After lunch where else would you go but to Island Sweets? Churros, sweet fried funnel cakes topped with strawberry and fudge toppings, or ice cream treats will all be found here.

Mustang Bar

That’s right at the new Wild Rivers has a bar where adults can come and have a refreshing beer or cocktail while your kids are playing in the park. Wild Rivers will even deliver the drink of your choice to a cabana for you!

Pacific Grille

Get all your favorites at the main restaurant, Pacific Grille. From kid’s choices like chicken tenders, pizza (cheese, pepperoni, veggie), hot dogs, and burgers to adult favorites like salads, Philly cheesesteaks, fish tacos, and barbeque pulled pork sandwiches, the Pacific Grille has them all.

Shaka Bay Grille

Located on the main beach of the wavepool, Shaka Bay Grille is a quick service restaurant. Menu items include chicken tenders, Angus hamburgers or cheeseburgers and fries, BBQ pulled pork or Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, Southwest Chipotle chicken wraps, grilled chicken Caesar salads and avocado toast. Kid-friendly options include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches without the crust, snack pack gelatin cups, pudding cups, apple sauce and fruit cups, Danimals strawberry yogurt drinks. Desserts include Choco-tacos, Chloe’s fruit bar, Dibs, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream sandwiches and orange creamsicles and more sweet treats. Plus, chips, soda and kid-friendly drinks.

Water Refill Stations

Water bottle refill stations are located at the Main Entry building, the locker and changing facility, and outside each of our four restrooms in the waterpark. The park allows outside refillable water bottles.

A Kona Ice truck is also serving refreshing shaved ice at the front entry on select days.


Additional Amenities

Retail Store

The retail store features souvenirs, clothing, and sundries including towels.

Cabanas

Cabanas are available for reservations in six different areas. Each cabana comes with a runner, two chaise lounges, two chairs, a table, and a safe to secure your personal belongings. Cabana reservations are for the cabana itself and do not include admission.

Check-in for your cabana reservation is located at the Guest Services kiosk in Wild Rivers Main Plaza just past where you present your tickets for admission.

Seating & Shade

Wild Rivers has over 2,000 chairs and chaise lounges on various sundecks throughout the park and surrounding pools. You may bring your own chairs if you prefer. There are no umbrellas and limited shaded areas as well no grass or turf areas.

Lockers

Large and medium lockers are available for rent for all-day, unlimited access. Lockers are rented at the park on a first come, first served basis.

Restrooms & Changing Tables

There are four restroom facilities with changing tables at all four locations.

Lost & Found

To retrieve or report lost items visit Guest Services at the Main Entrance building for assistance. You can also report a lost item by sending an email to [email protected]. Include your name, phone number, date of visit, and a description of the lost item. You may also call Guest Services at (949) 749-1900.

Amenities Not Included

  • No stroller, electric conveyance vehicles, or wheelchair rentals
  • No ATM on site
  • No public wifi
  • No grass or turf areas
  • Limited shaded areas
  • No umbrellas, lounge chairs or sun beds except at the cabanas
