Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Fleming’s has been a steakhouse standard since 1998, with their first location located in Newport Beach. Their steaks are served with your choice of signature butters like bearnaise, smoked chili, and herbed horseradish. You can also choose to top them with diablo shrimp, crispy maitake mushroom, or truffle poached lobster. Pair you favorite steak with Fleming’s potatoes or crispy brussels sprouts and bacon.

The Capital Grille

3333 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

The Capital Grille is an upscale steakhouse with nationally renowned dry-aged steaks and world class wines. Try one of their Chef’s Suggestions like the Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye or the Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails.

Del Frisco’s Grille

772 Spectrum Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618

This sophisticated chophouse gets rave reviews for their prime ribeye, so you’ll want to try that first. All signature steaks can be served as is, Oscar style, or with a topping of blue cheese, garlic herb, or truffle butter. Can’t decide what to have with it? You can’t go wrong with truffled mac and cheese, roasted wild mushrooms, or the heirloom tomatoes.

Mastro’s Steakhouse

Mastro’s offers an upscale dining experience with a collection of some of the finest steaks. In addition to the standard ribeye, NY Strip, and filet, you can also get some of the most exclusive beef in the world — 100% Tajima Cattle True A5 Kobe Beef, plus Japanese A5 Wagyu and American Wagyu. You’ll definitely want to try the wild mushroom and black truffle gnocchi and the lobster mashed potatoes, too.

Bourbon Steak

Michelin Star Chef Michael Mina brings all the finest cuts of beef and seafood to Bourbon Steak, combined with refined technique and an infusion or world flavors. If you really want to go nuts, try the Snake River Farms American Wagyu Tomahawk or the 28 oz. prime porterhouse. They also have a selection of Wagyu. Hanna’s Restaurant & Bar

Named one of America’s top 100 restaurants, Hanna’s is a modern American steakhouse that offers award winning service. They serve exquisitely prepared steaks including Australian Wagyu filet and NY strip broiled at 1200 degrees and finished with house made merlot butter. You can add caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms or pt. reyes bleu cheese, or choose a sauce like chimichurri, brandy peppercorn, or bearnaise. You’ll want to order the jalapeno potato au gratin for the table.

Old Brea Chop House

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

One of the standard destinations for a great steak, Ruth’s Chris offers perfectly prepared steaks for every appetite served on a 500-degree plate. They have prix fixe meals featuring classic cuts, and signature sides like creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin.

Summit House

The Summit House is perched on a hilltop in Fullerton and serves some of the best prime rib in town. Choose from the Cottage Cut, the Summit House Cut, or the Castle Cut. They also serve an exceptional Ribeye and filet. You’ll want to ask for the bone marrow mac n cheese or the Yorkshire popovers to go with these.

Trabuco Oaks Steak House

20782 Trabuco Oaks Dr, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679

This old school steakhouse is a come as you are atmosphere — no ties allowed. In fact, they’ll cut it off and hang it on the wall because steak doesn’t have to be stuffy. And my favorite part is the tree in the dining room. Try the Kansas City Ribeye or the Ponderosa Porterhouse and pair them with your favorite cabernet. You can also order dinner for two with your choice of Tomahawk, Porterhouse, or double rack of ribs.

Selanne Steak Tavern

1464 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651

Award winning Selanne Steak Tavern receives consistently high marks for their steaks and is located in a historic 1934 home on PCH. They have a wine list with over 2,000 world class wines and five classic dining settings all in one location. They offer all of the traditional steak offerings, including the 45-day dry aged bone in ribeye and the 38 oz Lord Stanley Cut.

Stubrik’s Steak House

118 E. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832

Stubrik’s is known for their specially aged steaks and comfort food favorites and is popular among the locals. They offer an award winning menu featuring black and blue filet and top sirloin and additional steaks like the ribeye and porterhouse. We love their house made soups, and we suggest starting with the stuffed mushrooms or crab cakes.

The Alley

4501 W Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663

The Alley isn’t necessarily a steakhouse, but they get rave reviews for the steaks they do serve. Come for the Prime House Cut Filet or the Porterhouse and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll want to get these with the Twice Baked with Bacon and the mushrooms. If you stop in for dinner, you can always stay for the late night happy hour.

Gulliver’s Restaurant

18482 MacArthur Blvd., Irvine, CA 92612

If you’re looking for a great prime rib, this is the place for you. It’s their specialty! They’ve got three different cuts: the Brobdingnagian, Gulliver’s Prime, and the traditional English cut. It’s also an enjoyable atmosphere, with servers wearing period costumes in an 18th century British setting. Don’t forget to order a side of truffle garlic mashed potatoes.

Prime Cut Café

Prime Cut Café offers affordable luxury dining and some of the best steaks in Orange County. They serve 28-day aged prime rib and USDA steaks, plus they have delicious starters like Devilish Eggs and charred poblano and corn guacamole.

Rare Society

226 Avenida Del Mar, San Clemente, CA 92672

Rare Society, the latest addition from Trust Restaurant Group, brings its renowned steakhouse concept to Orange County with its debut location in San Clemente. Spanning 5,500 square feet across two floors, this modern restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. The first and second floors boast inviting patio seating, allowing guests to relish the beautiful surroundings. Drawing inspiration from Las Vegas steakhouses, Rare Society presents a contemporary dining experience characterized by its distinctive wood-fired, Santa Maria style-grilling technique. Complementing the culinary offerings, Rare Society features a progressive cocktail program that showcases innovative and expertly crafted libations.

Saddle Ranch Chop House

At Saddle Ranch, you’ll get great steaks and one of a kind entertainment, including their signature mechanical bull. All classic cut steaks are served with your choice of cabernet demi glaze, bearnaise sauce, or herb garlic butter. Or try one of their signature specialties like the slow-roasted tri tip or hand battered fried chicken breast. Saddle Ranch also serves a delicious Ranch Brunch daily until 3PM.

Tartan Room

This family owned steak house has been serving steak to the community since 1958. Stop in here for old school steak house vibes, and order one of their classic cut steaks or prime rib. Need a starter? Try their golden mushrooms or shrimp stuffed avocados.
