This sophisticated chophouse gets rave reviews for their prime ribeye, so you’ll want to try that first. All signature steaks can be served as is, Oscar style, or with a topping of blue cheese, garlic herb, or truffle butter. Can’t decide what to have with it? You can’t go wrong with truffled mac and cheese, roasted wild mushrooms, or the heirloom tomatoes.

If you’re looking for a great prime rib, this is the place for you. It’s their specialty! They’ve got three different cuts: the Brobdingnagian, Gulliver’s Prime, and the traditional English cut. It’s also an enjoyable atmosphere, with servers wearing period costumes in an 18th century British setting. Don’t forget to order a side of truffle garlic mashed potatoes.

Trabuco Oaks Steak House
20782 Trabuco Oaks Dr, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92679
This old school steakhouse is a come as you are atmosphere — no ties allowed. In fact, they’ll cut it off and hang it on the wall because steak doesn’t have to be stuffy. And my favorite part is the tree in the dining room. Try the Kansas City Ribeye or the Ponderosa Porterhouse and pair them with your favorite cabernet. You can also order dinner for two with your choice of Tomahawk, Porterhouse, or double rack of ribs.
