Asian Garden Mall (Phước Lộc Thọ)

The Asian Garden Mall (Phước Lộc Thọ) is a shopping center located in Little Saigon in Westminster, CA, the home to the largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam. It is known for its collection of over 200 shops and restaurants that offer a variety of goods and services, such as traditional medicines, custom áo dài clothing, jewelry, anime, groceries, and more.

The mall also features cultural and entertainment events, such as live music, dance performances, and festivals. During the summer, a night market takes place every weekend that usually has a mix of merchants from different Asian backgrounds, including Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian and Chinese, making it a diverse and vibrant event.

The large 2 story shopping mall, with its iconic green roof, features shopping and a large food court on the first floor with authentic Vietnamese and Asian food and drinks. Banh Mi Sandwiches, Bahn Mi Gai, meat skewers, Pho, Mi, and Spring Rolls are just a few examples. On the second floor, there is a devotional area for visitors and even more shopping.

English is the predominate language spoken but if you speak Vietnamese that is definitely a plus.

Asian Garden Mall Events

Cho Hoa Flower Festival – Phuoc Loc Tho

The Asian Garden Mall hosts the annual Flower Festival where you can shop for fresh mai flowers, cherry blossoms, orchids, plants, and traditional Tết (Lunar New Year) décor. Traditional arts and crafts will also be available as well as entertainment from local musicians, and food vendors will serve traditional food nightly. A firecracker celebration, where thousands of firecrackers are lit, takes place on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

The flower festival is held for about two and half weeks each year around the Lunar New Year.

Little Saigon Night Market

The annual Asian Garden Night Market takes place every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, 7pm – 11pm from the middle of June to Labor Day weekend. The Little Saigon Night Market is held outside in front of the mall on Bolsa Ave and Saigon St and was inspired by night markets in Ho Chi Minh City.

The night market features authentic Vietnamese street food such as Vietnamese kabobs, pancakes, desserts, sugarcane, charbroiled lobster, grilled squid, durian sticky rice, Bánh tráng trứng chiên, Bot chien, bánh khọt and more. There is also live Vietnamese entertainment, karaoke singing, people watching, vendors selling Vietnamese crafts (toys, dresses, shoes, house plants, jewelry etc.). The event is fun for all ages and admission and parking is free to the public.

Pop-Up Events

The Asian Garden Mall also hosts pop-up events throughout the year including Halloween & Fall Harvest and Autumn Moon pop-up events. The events often include activities and pop-up shops selling food, teas, lanterns, moon cakes and more.

About Little Saigon

Little Saigon is a three square mile area with nearly 2,000 Vietnamese restaurants, shops and businesses. It is centered in the cities of Westminster and Garden Grove, and also includes the unincorporated areas of Midway City and Stanton. The community was established in the late 1970s and early 1980s by Southeast Asian refugees who fled Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia after the end of the Vietnam War.
