Garden Amp in Garden Grove: Outdoor Concert Venue Guide
Garden Amp is an open-air amphitheater on Main Street in Garden Grove, right beside Village Green Park. The city-owned bowl hosts punk, ska, reggae, hip-hop and tribute-band nights, with tiered stadium seats facing a standing area in front of the stage.

Shows & Schedule
Most shows fall on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, with an occasional midweek date. Doors usually open in the late afternoon, and most shows wrap up by about 10 p.m. The fall 2026 calendar includes Black Flag, Xzibit, Warren G, Pinhead Gunpowder and Reel Big Fish, plus a steady run of tribute nights. Tickets & Box Office
Tickets are sold online through TicketWeb. You can also buy at the box office, which saves you the online service fees. It opens on show nights one hour before doors and stays open until showtime, and you can buy tickets for future shows there too. Cards and cash are both accepted.

Seating & Age Policy
The bowl has 496 fixed stadium seats plus a standing area in front of the stage. Every show is general admission, so seats and standing spots are first come, first served, and a ticket doesn’t guarantee you a seat. Some smaller shows are booked inside the venue’s Locker Room instead of the main stage.
For ADA seating, let the door staff know when you arrive and they’ll direct you. Current show listings are marked all ages, but check the listing for your show before you buy.
Food & Drinks
The food menu changes often. Recent options have included tacos, mulitas, queso tacos, loaded and pastrami fries, chicken strips, a veggie burger, a pastrami sandwich and churros. Full bars serve guests 21 and over. Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed.
Parking & Getting There
Garden Amp sits in Village Green Park on Main Street, about a block west of Euclid Street and north of Garden Grove Boulevard. The nearest 22 Freeway exit is Euclid Street. The venue says there’s plenty of free street parking in the surrounding blocks.

A Brief History of Garden Amp
Built in the 1970s, the amphitheater spent about three decades as a home for community theater, Shakespeare Orange County and events tied to the city’s Strawberry Festival. It has gone by several names, including the Festival Amphitheater and the Strawberry Bowl.
In February 2017, the Garden Grove City Council approved a 10-year facility use agreement with LFA Group to run the city-owned venue, and LFA got the keys that March. The group’s partners are Jon Reiser, known for Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana’s The Observatory; Viet Tran, a former owner of Costa Mesa’s Shark Club; and Angel Zaragoza, who worked Warped Tour and toured with Strung Out. Under LFA, the bowl was rebranded as Garden Amp and turned into a regular concert stop.
