How to Watch AMA Supercross
The 2027 Supercross broadcast and streaming schedule has not yet been announced. For the 2026 season, NBC Sports coverage included Peacock, NBC and NBCSN, with Peacock carrying live race coverage, qualifying and heats. This section will be updated when the 2027 media schedule is released.
How Long is AMA Supercross?
The main Supercross racing program typically lasts about three hours, including rider introductions and racing. Fans attending qualifying, FanFest and the full event-day experience should plan for a significantly longer day.
Supercross event days begin well before opening ceremonies and the main races. Qualifying and FanFest activities may take place hours earlier, giving fans opportunities to see the bikes and teams and participate in event activities. Exact 2027 Anaheim times will be added when announced.
- Main Event races for the 450 Class: 20 minutes + 1 lap,
- Main Event races for the 250 Class: 15 minutes + 1 lap.
Supercross FanFest
Supercross FanFest gives spectators the opportunity to see teams prepare, practice, and qualify for the Main Event, get a look at the motorcycles, and meet with the riders. Other things to do at the Supercross FanFest may include gaming rigs, a pump track, interactive toy tables, and exhibitions. Points are earned only during main events and are awarded as follows:
- Top finisher = 26 points
- 2nd Place = 23 points
- 3rd Place = 21 points
- 4th Place = 19 points
- 5th Place = 18 points
- 6th Place = 17 points
- Each place below receiving one point less
Points are accumulated throughout the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. The rider finishing the Supercross season with the most championship points is crowned the Monster Energy AMA Supercross champion. The number of rounds and competition rules should be confirmed against the current season’s official regulations.
The SuperMotocross World Championship combines competition from the Supercross and Pro Motocross seasons before the season-ending SMX playoffs.
