Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo

Saddle up for heart-pounding competitions and a festive western atmosphere. The Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo is the perfect fusion of excitement and family-friendly fun. Spectators can see exciting competitions in saddle bronc, bareback riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, and team roping, as each cowboy vies for victory. Guests can also meet the talented cowboys and capture a memorable photo or two.

Update: The RMV Rodeo Has Been Discontinued Indefinitely

The 2023 Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo scheduled has been canceled due to a virus affecting horses and cattle across Southern California. While there have been no reports of vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) specifically at Rancho Mission Viejo, the decision to cancel the event was made in the best interest of the animals.

In addition to the thrilling rodeo itself, the RMV Rodeo offers many exciting activities for attendees of all ages. Indulge in food and drinks with flavors of the wild west or explore the vendor booths showcasing unique western merchandise and artisan crafts. The little cowgirls and cowboys can enjoy the pony rides, a trackless train, bounce around in jump houses, get their faces painted, and much more, ensuring endless fun for the whole family.
