Fountain Valley Summerfest

The annual four day long Fountain Valley Summerfest will kick off the summer starting on Thursday, June 13 and conclude on Sunday, June 16, 2024. This family-friendly event will feature live music performances on two stages, games and carnival rides for all ages, savory food, a fireworks and drone light show, local vendors and much more.

Things to do at Fountain Valley Summerfest

Enjoy live music performances: Listen and dance to a variety of genres, including rock, pop, country, and more on the main stage and community stage. Headliners will be on the main stage and the community stage will showcase local area dancing troupes, theater groups and music groups such as high school and small bands.

Check out the food vendors: Enjoy delicious treats, from classic fair food like funnel cakes and corn dogs to eclectic options like deep fried twinkies and Oreos, bulgogi fries, artesian pizza and much more.

Sip on cocktail (or two): Beer, wine and cocktail will be there for all those over 21 to enjoy including Summerfest’s signature drink the Summer Smash (vodka, cranberry juice, OJ, grenadine, lemon lime soda).

Enjoy carnival rides and play games: Summerfest is packed full of family-friendly kiddie rides and thrilling rides including a Ferris wheel, merry-go round, tilt-a-wheel, bumper cars, zipper, kamikaze, thunderbolt and much more.

Shop til you drop: The Vendors’ Corner will feature a variety of local vendors that have something for everyone.

Participate in contests and activities: The event often features contests and activities like a pie-eating contest, watermelon-eating contest, and more. Check the schedule to see what’s happening when you visit.

Watch the fireworks and drone light shows: Select nights will feature a spectacular fireworks show and an exhilarating drone light show you won’t want to miss. Check the schedule for the planned night of each show.

What to Know

  • Folding chairs are permitted in designated areas. NO Tents, hammocks or canopies are allowed.
  • Allowed: (1) One unopened bottle of water per person, backpacks, binoculars, blankets, sheets, towels, cameras.
  • Dogs on a leash are allowed.
  • Wear tennis shoes especially if you plan to enjoy the rides as no open toed shoes or sandals are allowed.
