Big Shots is open seven days a week. While they are primarily a billiards place, there is a decent sized dance floor with room for country line dancing. They feature line dancing specifically on country nights, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, when they are open for ages 18 and up. Stop in to the Big Red Barn and have some fun!
The Brandin’ Iron

The Brandin’ Iron offers an authentic country night club experience with line dancing, live music, and an all ages family day every first Sunday of the month. This historic location has hosted musical acts like Willie Nelson and Jason Aldean, and continues to keep a packed house with regular live bands and one of the best dance floors in SoCal.
Cowboy Country Saloon

Cowboy Country Saloon has a great dancefloor and they offer free line dancing lessons for those looking to learn some new moves. Not up for dancing? That’s ok too. They’ve got plenty of high top tables and a country bar, pool tables, and an upstairs kitchen for dinner or appetizers. There is a cover charge at Cowboy Country Saloon after 7PM.
The Cowboy Palace Saloon

The Cowboy Palace Saloon claims to be the last real honky tonk in Los Angeles. Find out for yourself and head in for a night of line dancing and fun. They host happy hour from 5 to 7PM, there are pool tables, and live music takes the stage nightly every Wednesday through Sunday. You can also participate in a variety of dance lessons here including line dancing and country partner dancing. There is a cover charge at Cowboy Palace.
Gaslamp Restaurant & Bar
6251 E. Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach, CA 90803

Gaslamp is a popular spot on PCH in Long Beach for live music. Every Thursday is country night and you can stop in here to kick up your boots to some of the best country music from country DJs and live country bands. Doors open at 6PM on country nights and there are line dancing lessons available throughout the evening.

Goody’s Tavern is open nightly for drinks, pool, karaoke, DJs, and other entertainment. Wednesday is country night so stop in for line dancing. They also have an instructor or two to join in the fun and teach line dancing lessons.

InCahoots Fullerton is one of OCs premier venues for country music as the longest continuously running country nightclub in the area. The club is currently only open on Wednesday nights, but it’s worth a visit to experience the dance competitions, country bar, music, and fun. InCahoots has line dancing lessons on select Wednesday Nights to serve all dance levels.
Montana’s Country Night Club

Montana’s is a rustic country nightclub with music and dancing every Friday and Saturday night. Mosey on in for music that ranges from classic country to todays favorite country hits, and line dancing lessons are available at 7 and 7:30PM on Saturdays. Montana’s also has a billiards area and space for private parties.

The Ranch is OCs premier country music, dance venue and country bar, and is open three nights a week for entertainment. There are two full bars, and music is hosted by popular country DJs and live bands. The Ranch pays homage to the old Crazy Horse Steakhouse and offers an up close and intimate musical experience. Free country line dancing lessons for beginners are offered every Wednesday through Sunday night. Live bands are on Fridays and Saturdays. The first Sunday of the month is Family Sunday, with multiple dance lessons available. Hungry? Hit the restaurant before dancing the night away.
StillWater Spirits & Sounds

StillWater Spirits & Sounds is a prohibition-themed bar and restaurant. They have unique crafted cocktails, 54 beers on tap, televisions, heated outdoor seating, a dance floor, DJs and live music. They have a lineup of live music five days a week. Come in on Country Wednesdays for some two steppin’ and line dancing.

The Swallows Inn is an old school country western joint. They have live music most nights so you can dance anytime, but if you’re specifically looking for line dancing, head in on Monday or Tuesday night. They even offer line dance lessons on these nights for beginners or those looking to learn some new stepping skills.

Temecula Stampede has everything you need for a boot kicking good time including a 4,000 square foot dance floor, bull riding, and pool tables. The Stampede claims to be the West Coast’s largest country music venue and regularly hosts live country musicians.

Whiskey River is a hot spot for live music and country line dancing with some of the best entertainment in the Inland Empire. They’ve got everything for a complete country night including bull riding, pool tables, and a place to park your horse. Yes, your horse (it is in Horsetown, USA). They are open nightly for dancing, including scheduled line dancing on Saturday and Sunday, plus lessons Monday through Thursday, and partner lessons on Saturday.
