Santa Ana Tết Lunar New Year Festival

The city of Santa Ana is hosting a Lunar New Year Celebration! Coming to Centennial Park, the Tết Lunar New Year Festival event celebrates the diverse Asian and Vietnamese cultures throughout the community, and is intended to be added to the annual calendar of special events going forward.

This exciting cultural community festival is hosted by the City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Agency and the Santa Ana Public Library. Let’s celebrate the Year Of The Snake Together! We look forward to seeing you there.

Tet Lunar New Year Festival

Lunar New Year will be begin on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 and ends on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Tết and Chinese New Year will celebrate the Year of the Snake.

Lunar New Year Festival Things To Do

Guests can look forward to a variety of exciting, family friendly activities at the event including:

  • A Lion dance, Dragon Dance, Drummers, and other cultural performances
  • Additional live entertainment
  • Anaheim Ducks Mascot, Wild Wing + activities and prizes
  • Asian American Senior Citizens Service Center will have a traditional Chinese costume dance (cheongsam) + fashion show, calligraphy workshop, games, and prizes
  • Library Lane and resources
  • Kids activities and play area
  • Traditional cultural art
  • Community Resources
  • Food and drink vendors
  • Fireworks Show (5:45 PM)

There will be plenty of room to relax and enjoy the afternoon celebrating at the Lunar New Year Festival. Stay and enjoy all the event has to offer and bring a picnic, blankets, and lawn chairs.

About Centennial Park

Centennial Park is located in Santa Ana near Edinger Avenue and Fairview Street. The park is just under 70 acres with plenty of open space, sports fields, picnic areas, playgrounds, a hiking exercise trail, skate park, and a fishing lake. There are 466 designated parking spots at Centennial Park.
