La Habra Tamale Festival 2026
The 13th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival returns Saturday, December 5, 2026. The community festival, first held in 2014, celebrates the holiday season with tamales, food and community activities. The festival runs from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Euclid Street, with live music on stage through the day.

Stage Entertainment: The festival's 2026 entertainment lineup includes:
- Timba Tumbao: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
- Smooth Sounds of Santana: 1:30–3:00 PM
- Kimba Light: 4:30–6:00 PM
Past festivals have featured performances on several stages, including Portola Park, City Hall and Brio Park.
Parking & Shuttle - 2026 details TBA
The transportation and parking information below is from a previous festival and has not yet been confirmed for 2026. Use the City of La Habra event page for the current event map and transportation plan when released.
A free shuttle will be available to take attendees from off-site parking to the event location and runs 9AM to 9PM, or until the last rider is dropped off. The shuttles run about every 15 minutes and can be picked up at the following locations:
- La Habra Marketplace: 1431 W Imperial Hwy., La Habra, CA 90631 (Park behind Sprouts)
- La Bonita Park: 500 Granada Ct., La Habra, CA 90631 (Use Lower Parking Lot)
There is an Uber/Lyft drop off location at 101 W La Habra Blvd., La Habra, CA 90631

2026 Vendor Information
2026 food and general (non-food) vendor applications are open, in English and Spanish, on the city's Tamale Festival page. Booths are assigned first come, first served once an application is complete and payment clears. Food vendors' insurance certificates (naming the city) and OC Health single-day permits are due November 2, 2026, and a $50 late fee applies to late insurance certificates. Every tamale vendor is entered in the Tamale Contest for Best Tamale, Best Dessert Tamale and the Judges Award; winners are announced at the Main Stage.
