Silverado Days

The 67th annual Silverado Days is a three-day event that will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023 through Sunday, October 22, 2023. Highlights of the festival include games, crafts, music, drawings, contests, carnival rides, food, and fun for the whole family.

Park Hours
Friday, October 20 – 3 pm – Midnight
Saturday, October 21 – 10 am – Midnight
Sunday, October 22 – 8 am -10 pm
Carnival Hours
Friday, October 20 – 5 pm- 11 pm
Saturday, October 21 – 2 pm -11 pm
Sunday, October 22- 2 pm-10 pm

Admission is free; food, crafts and carnival rides are not.
Purchase Carnival Tickets Online including unlimited ride wristbands.
Save by purchasing online in advance.

Proceeds from Silverado Days are given back to the community in grants for schools, city projects, parks and many other service projects.

Carnival Rides

There are over 30 carnival rides and games.

Entertainment

There will be a lineup of bands playing music on the Main Stage.

Food and Marketplace Booths

  • Food Court Booths: Located near the main stage, the food court offers a wide variety of menu items ranging from ethnic specialties from Korea and China to American staples including hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, Philly cheese steak, pizza, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.
  • Marketplace Booths: Booths displaying crafts, jewelry, professional cookware and all those things you expect of the festival.

Contests

  • Miss Silverado: Miss Silverado is a scholarship for community minded women, representing and partnering with the Buena Park Noon Lions Club. Miss Silverado and her court begin their reigning year at Silverado days where they judge contests, serve breakfast, and get the opportunity to engage with the community and all our service organizations. Ages: 18 to 25 years of age or a 17 year old senior in High School.
  • Chili Cook Off: Sunday, October 22, 2023, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Awards for Best Chili, People’s Choice, Best Decorated Chili Booth and Best Chili Booth Team.
  • Car Show: Sunday, October 22, 2023, 9AM – 2PM; If you have a car worth showing, bring it or stop by check out all the amazing cars.
  • Professional Horseshoe Contest
  • Pie Eating Contest for all age groups
  • Hula Hoop Contest
  • Bike Drawings
  • Mutt Show
  • Baby Classic Contest

Silverado Ball

The Silverado Ball is a night of dinner, dancing, a silent auction and the crowning of Miss Silverado and her court.
