40-Inch Attractions

Cook’s Cove slides have a 40-inch minimum. Castaway River does not use a 40-inch minimum, but guests under 40 inches must wear a provided life jacket.

42-Inch Rides

Aquaconda, Bora Bora Boomerang, Tortuga, Typhoon, Tomcat Racers, Tala and Mano currently have a 42-inch minimum.

48-Inch Rides

Fiji Falls, Pelican Plunge, Pipeline, Samoan Serpent, Tiki’s Revenge, Bombay Blasters and Tahitian Toucan currently require a minimum height of 48 inches.

Wave Pool & Lazy River

Castaway River

Type: Lazy river | Length: 1,700 feet | Rule: Guests under 40 inches must wear a provided life jacket | Maximum depth: 30 inches

Castaway River is a 1,700-foot lazy river with complimentary tubes and life jackets. Guests can float around the park’s central island and pass several attractions along the route.

Shaka Bay

Type: Wave pool | Size: 25,000 square feet | Rule: Guests under 48 inches must wear a provided life jacket

Shaka Bay is Wild Rivers’ 25,000-square-foot wave pool, with a beach-style entry and a deeper surf zone. Complimentary tubes and life jackets are available.

Family Raft Rides

Aquaconda

Type: Family raft | Riders: 3-6 | Minimum height: 42 inches | Maximum combined weight: 1,000 lbs | Tower: 61 feet | Length: 587 feet

Aquaconda starts in an open flume before moving into an enclosed section with sweeping turns and a surprise drop into the splashdown pool.

Bora Bora Boomerang

Type: Family raft | Riders: 3-6 | Minimum height: 42 inches | Maximum combined weight: 1,000 lbs | Tower: 61 feet | Length: 494 feet

The raft descends through an open flume before dropping toward a large steep wall, climbing the wall and returning toward the runout.

Tortuga

Type: Enclosed family raft ride | Riders: 3-6 | Minimum height: 42 inches | Maximum combined weight: 1,000 lbs

Tortuga combines enclosed turns, large rounded chambers and high-banked sections before the raft reaches the splashdown pool.

Typhoon

Typhoon sends a family raft through tight turns, steep drops and a large tube section before a fast finish into the splashdown pool.

Tube Slides

Fiji Falls

Type: Tube slide | Riders: 1-2 | Minimum height: 48 inches | Tower: 41 feet | Length: 354 feet | Weight: 300 lbs single / 400 lbs combined

Fiji Falls is a four-story tube slide with a constrictor-style course of turns and drops. Riders use a double tube either solo or with a second rider.

Pelican Plunge

Type: Water coaster and tube ride | Riders: 1-2 | Minimum height: 48 inches | Tower: 41 feet | Length: 558 feet | Weight: 300 lbs single / 400 lbs combined

Pelican Plunge combines downhill sections with water-powered uphill sections before entering an enclosed flume and a large oscillating element near the finish.

Pipeline

Type: Enclosed tube slide | Riders: 1-2 | Minimum height: 48 inches | Tower: 41 feet | Length: 358 feet | Weight: 300 lbs single / 400 lbs combined

Pipeline is an enclosed tube slide with twists, turns and drops. Riders use a double tube either alone or with a second rider.

Samoan Serpent

Type: Open and enclosed tube slide | Riders: 1-2 | Minimum height: 48 inches | Tower: 41 feet | Length: 379 feet | Weight: 300 lbs single / 400 lbs combined

Samoan Serpent combines open and enclosed tube-slide sections over its 379-foot course.

Tiki’s Revenge

Type: Bowl tube ride | Riders: 1-2 | Minimum height: 48 inches | Tower: 41 feet | Length: 228 feet | Weight: 300 lbs single / 400 lbs combined

One or two riders travel on a double tube into the ride’s large bowl element before continuing toward the runout.

Body Slides

Bombay Blasters

Type: Enclosed drop body slide | Riders: Single | Minimum height: 48 inches | Maximum weight: 300 lbs | Pool depth: 8 feet

Bombay Blasters is one of the attractions brought back from the former Wild Rivers. Riders travel through dark enclosed tubes and are launched about four feet into an 8-foot-deep receiving pool. Riders must be strong swimmers and comfortable in deep water.

Tahitian Toucan

Type: Open drop body slide | Riders: Single | Minimum height: 48 inches | Maximum weight: 300 lbs | Pool depth: 8 feet

Tahitian Toucan is a remake of the original Wild Rivers’ Sweitzer Falls. The short open slide launches riders about four feet into an 8-foot-deep receiving pool. Riders must be strong swimmers and comfortable in deep water.

Tala & Mano

Type: Open/enclosed slides | Minimum height: 42 inches | Maximum weight: 300 lbs | Tower: 30 feet | Lengths: Tala 249 feet; Mano 237 feet

Tala combines open and enclosed sections. Mano is enclosed and uses colored translucent sections to create changing light effects during the descent.

Mat Racer

Tomcat Racers

Type: Six-lane mat racer | Riders: Up to 6, one per lane | Minimum height: 42 inches | Maximum weight: 300 lbs | Tower: 50 feet | Length: 334 feet

Riders race face-first on mats through enclosed spiral sections before the six lanes align for an open-air side-by-side finish.

Cook’s Cove

Type: Family activity pool and play structure | Slide minimum: 40 inches | Maximum slide weight: 300 lbs | Maximum water depth: 9 inches

Cook’s Cove is an interactive children’s play area with small slides, water-play features and a shallow pool. Wild Rivers lists 77 activities in the play structure.

Kontiki Cove

Type: Children’s activity pool and slides | Slide height range: 36-54 inches | Maximum slide weight: 200 lbs | Maximum water depth: 2 feet

Kontiki Cove is designed for younger children, with small slides inspired by larger park attractions and a shallow activity pool.

Cook’s Cove vs. Kontiki Cove

Kontiki Cove is the more specifically size-limited children’s slide area, with a current slide height range of 36-54 inches. Cook’s Cove is a larger interactive play structure whose slides currently require a 40-inch minimum. Families should check posted rules for each feature on the day of their visit.

Food & Drinks at Wild Rivers

Current Wild Rivers information identifies Pacific Grille, Mustang Bar and Grill, Island Sweets, concession carts and the Bungalow 5 retail store as food, drink or snack options. Menus and operating locations can change, so this page does not maintain a detailed item-by-item menu.

Water Refill Stations

Refillable water bottles are permitted. Water bottle refill stations are located at the Main Entry building, the locker/changing facility and outside each of the park’s four restrooms.

Wild Rivers Amenities

Retail Store

Bungalow 5 sells park necessities and retail items. Towels are not provided with admission, so bring your own or purchase one at the park.

Cabanas

Wild Rivers currently offers six cabana zones, including standard and premium options. Standard cabanas include reserved shade and seating, two chaise lounges, two chairs, a side table and a safe. Cabana reservations do not include park admission.

Seating & Shade

Wild Rivers says it has more than 2,000 chairs and chaise lounges on sundecks and around pools. Guests may currently bring personal chairs. General shade can be limited, and outside umbrellas and portable tents are prohibited.

Lockers

Lockers are first come, first served and include all-day unlimited access. Current pricing is $18 for a medium locker and $23 for a large locker.

Restrooms & Changing Facilities

Wild Rivers has four restroom facilities, each with changing tables. The park also identifies a locker and changing facility.

Good to Know

  • Wild Rivers does not currently rent strollers, wheelchairs or electric conveyance vehicles (ECVs); guests may bring their own.
  • Public Wi-Fi is not currently available.
  • The park is cashless and accepts major credit cards and mobile payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Cash-to-card kiosks are available for guests who arrive with cash.
  • Complimentary child-size life jackets are available near Shaka Bay and Castaway River; guests may also bring a U.S. Coast Guard-certified life jacket.
