The Original Lobster Festival is jam-packed with live entertainment, fun activities and as the name might imply tons of live Maine lobster. The Lobster Festival is held at the Fountain Valley Sports park from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024. This event was formerly called The Long Beach Original Lobster Festival, aka The Long Beach Lobster Festival, and was held at Rainbow Lagoon Park in Long Beach.
The Original Lobster Festival features a long roster of lobster-based dishes including live Maine Lobster steamed in the largest cooker in the world, lobster sliders, lobster rolls, and lobster on-a-stick. There are also plenty of non-seafood meals and international foods.
The Festival also features an entertaining lineup of live music, a karaoke lounge, a dance floor (complete with dance lessons), El Baston del Rey Tequila/Whiskey tastings, a VIP lounge and cabanas, and many other fun activities.
The event is fun for the whole family. Activities for the kids include a magic show, close up critter encounter, games, balloon twisting, and face painting. Kids can also meet The Original Lobster Festival mascot.
