Halloween Screams is a nighttime spectacular hosted by Jack Skellington and featuring Disney villains, projections, music and special effects. The show is approximately 10 minutes, with fireworks added on select nights.

More Halloween Festivities

- Downtown Disney District joins the season with Halloween décor, seasonal food, shopping and entertainment. Offerings can vary throughout the season.
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party
Oogie Boogie Bash is a separately ticketed Halloween party at Disney California Adventure on 33 select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026. The party runs from 6 PM to 11 PM, and event ticket holders may enter Disney California Adventure beginning at 3 PM. As of September 2026, general-admission event tickets are sold out; check Disney directly for current ticket information and special member events.
For 2026, party entertainment includes Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party, along with villain encounters, immersive Treat Trails, Villains Grove and other event-exclusive experiences.
Villains Grove transforms Redwood Creek Challenge Trail with lighting, sound and special effects, while immersive Treat Trails combine trick-or-treating with Disney villain appearances. The 2026 party also features appearances by Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman at select times, plus villains including Yzma and returning characters such as Syndrome and Maleficent. Mickey’s Trick and Treat is offered during regular Halloween Time rather than being exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
