Each room comes with a variety of amenities. Plus, all guests have access to the hotel’s indoor waterpark, which features a variety of slides, pools, and attractions.

Standard Suites

The Standard suites offer the perfect amount of space for a small family or couple who wants to visit Great Wolf Lodge. There are 3 different types of rooms in this category, including the Family suite, which sleeps 4-6, the Double Queen suite, which sleeps 4, and the King suite which sleeps 2. All of the standard rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge, flat screen TV, and a coffee maker.

Themed Suites

For those with kids who want to make the most of their trip, the themed suites are absolutely perfect! The themed suites add a unique twist to the standard suites, making them especially appealing to children.

There are two suites in this category – The Wolf Den suite offers a queen sized bed for the adults, and a cave themed bunk bed room for the kids. The other room is The Cabin Suite, which swaps the cave themed room for a cabin themed sleeping room with bunk beds and a small twin bed.

Premium Suites

Last but definitely not least is the premium suites, these suites offer the highest amount of luxury for your vacation. What makes these suites extra special is that everyone can get their own private area at the end of the busy day.

The first of the premium suites is the Grizzly Bear suite: This suite offers two separate sleeping areas, and a semi-private living area with a pull-out sofa bed. This room is perfect for large families who need a little extra space to sprawl out.

There is also the Grand Bear suite that offers one private sleeping area with a queen bed, while the main area of the room is equipped with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed. This is a bit smaller than the Grizzly Bear suite but sleeps the same number of people.

Last in the premium suites is the Deluxe Wolf Den King Suite, this suite extends the themed wolf den suite to include a private room with a king bed. This is perfect for those who want to enjoy a themed room but need the extra space.

Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark

Now to the most beloved part of Great Wolf Lodge: the indoor waterpark. The waterpark offers a variety of slides, pools, and activities for all ages. Guests can also enjoy the Wolf Rider, an interactive wave simulator, and other water activities. The water park is the perfect place to cool off and have a blast.

The Slides:

For the thrill seekers of the family, great Wolf Lodge has the perfect selection of slides to choose from. One of the most popular is the Wolf Tail slide, which is their take on the drop floor slide. As well as the tandem Alberta tube ride, which even takes you outside the building!

The Pools:

In addition to the many slides to choose from that Great Wolf Lodge offers, there’s also a few different pools you can take a dip in. Namely, the Slap Tail Pond wave pool. In addition to the wave pool, there is also a lazy river, and the raccoon lagoon, which is located outside.

The Playgrounds and Water Activities:

Great Wolf Lodge also offers a variety of playgrounds and water activities. The Cub Paw Pool Playground is a great place for young kids to splash around and explore. The Whooping Hollow is an interactive water playground with slides, sprinklers, and other fun water features. Children love the Big Foot Pass, in which you must cross a pool using only lilypads as your bridge.

Daily Events

There are a lot of daily events for families to enjoy outside of the waterpark. As part of your stay, you will be able to participate in all the events listed below.

Yoga Tails is one daily morning event that is popular across many Great Wolf Lodge locations, this allows you to get a jumpstart to your day before enjoying the rest of the activities the hotel has to offer.

Character-based experiences include the Adventures of the Great Wolf Pack storytime, which is perfect for the younger children in your family, as well as character appearances and the Hustle & Howl Dance Party.

The Restaurants

The good news about staying at Great Wolf Lodge is that you don’t have to go far for meals. The hotel itself has four restaurants to choose from, including the Loose Moose buffet, the Hungry As a Wolf restaurant, which offers pizzas and pasta, Grizzly Jack’s Bar and Grill, and Lodge Wood Fired Grill.

In addition to the selection of restaurants located in the hotel, the waterpark itself has a quick service restaurant called Buckets. Buckets offers american cuisine like hot dogs, chicken tenders, and hamburgers.

The Arcade

Once you’ve had your fill of slides and pools, the Northern Lights arcade is the perfect break. The arcade features a variety of classic and modern games, including strength testing games, air hockey tables, and Skee-Ball. There’s also a prize counter, where you can redeem tickets for prizes.

Magiquest

One of the most unique experiences that Great Wolf Lodge offers, this allows you to explore the resort as you embark on a quest to gather runes and fight dragons. The Anaheim location also offers a special quest called Rise of the Totem Masters, which gives you the opportunity to fight the shadow lord.

There is also a special mode for younger travelers called Mini Magi Mode – this allows an easier gameplay experience for younger kids, so they can have just as much fun as the older kids and adults.

Howl at the Moon Glow Golf

Howl at the Moon Glow Golf is a perfect way to end the night. The course is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is an exciting and unique way to bond with your family.

This glow golf course offers an exciting and unique experience. The 9-hole course is illuminated with UV lights, creating a mesmerizing effect. The course also features special obstacles and challenges that add to the fun.

Bowling

This bowling alley is perfect for both grownups and kids. The smaller size of the lanes and bowling balls makes it easier for children to throw the bowling balls at the pins. However, the small size doesn’t impact how teens and adults can play.

The Passes – Are They Worth It?

If you’re currently researching your stay at Great Wolf Lodge, chances are you’ve heard of the activity passes that Great Wolf Lodge offers, but are they actually worth it? Let’s take a look at the benefits of each of the three passes offered.

The Pup Pass is the lowest package offered, and currently includes one build-a-bear, one small candy cup, a scoop of their bear paw ice cream, and $5 to spend at the Northern Lights arcade. This pass is best when you’re taking a short weekend trip and can’t cram every single activity in.

The next tier up is the Paw Pass, which gives you one Magiquest game and wand, a pair of goggles for the waterpark, and everything included in the Pup Pass except the build-a-bear. This package is the right choice for older kids and longer stays, so you can make the most of the activities on site.

The highest of all the passes is the Wolf Pass, and this gives you access to practically everything the hotel has to offer. In addition to what’s included in the lower two passes, you also get a round of golf, and a game of bowling. This is perfect for families who want to do everything and have enough time at the resort to get it all done.
