The Cannery Seafood of the Pacific Restaurant is built in the heart of the commercial fishing area of Newport Beach at Lido Peninsula. The restaurant location was originally the home of Western Canners Company, where fresh local catch was canned and packed. While the building was slated for demolition in 1999, it was purchased in 2000 by a local Jack Sproul who intended to preserve the areas history. Today, the Cannery offers the freshest seafood available using only wild, line-caught fish, and certified Angus beef. You’ll definitely want to try the Chick Mac-Net, which is mac and cheese, fried chicken, maple syrup, and a cheddar waffle.
