• The 7 day Disney Plus Free Trial was suspended in the US in 2020 and hasn’t been back since.
• Disney+ now offers an exclusive military discount through The Exchange — eligible U.S. service members, veterans and their families can sign up for Disney+ and receive 25% off the annual subscription price.

• New releases and timeless classics
• Newer films are expected to be released within a year of their theatrical release.
• Disney theatrical releases are available on the Disney+ app including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Aladdin, Dumbo, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4 and The Lion King.
• All 30 seasons of the Simpsons are available.
• Exclusive new Original Movies and Series.
• Exciting specials and limited-time streaming events.
• Nostalgic throwbacks and past seasons of your favorite shows.
• The entire Skywalker Saga and much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
• Fox content, which Disney purchased, is available Disney+ or Hulu depending on the content.
• Documentaries, unscripted series, experimental shorts, and so much more.

Disney Plus Things to Know

• Much like Netflix the Disney+ app features curated and personalized experiences for everyone. For example, for Marvel viewers the app will recommend films and shows from the Marvel studio and content similar to Marvel.
• Not every legacy movie and show is available due to complex issues with licensing agreements that Disney has already entered into.
• New episodes are released weekly and will not be dropped all at once like Netflix.
• Adult-oriented Disney content is streamed on Hulu.
• Add Movies and Shows to Your Watchlist.
• All new titles are added to the service at midnight 12 am PST/3 a.m. EST on the day of their release.
• Generally, new series episodes are released early Wednesday mornings, and original films tend to land early Friday mornings.
• There is no specific timing theatrical releases being available on Disney Plus. Historically theatrical releases have been released two to four months after first showing in theatres.
